Eligibility Criteria
Approved List of Companies:
  • Minimum net income: Rs. 25,000
  • 3 months permanent employment
Armed Forces: Rs. 20,000 net income (Commissioned Officers)
Branch Customers (Salaried):
  • Minimum net income: Rs. 25,000
  • Minimum last 3 months salary account relationship with AKBL
Branch Customers (SEB/SEP):
  • Minimum average balance: Rs. 50,000 in last 6 months
  • Minimum 1 year account relationship with AKBL
Government Sector:
  • BPS 17 or above
  • Minimum 6 months service length
Electronics Credit Information Bureau (ECIB) & Debit Burden Ratio (DBR): Mandatory for all applicants. Debt burden inclusive of all existing and proposed liabilities shall not exceed 50% of net disposable income

Classic Card: Rs. 2,320/- (commission 2,000 + FED 320) per annum, waiver is subject to Rs. 5,000/- spending within two months of card issuance/renewal
Gold Card: Rs. 4,640/- (commission 4,000 + FED 640) per annum, waiver is subject to Rs. 10,000/- spending within two months of card issuance/renewal
Platinum Card: Rs. 5,800/- (commission 5,000 + FED 800) per annum, waiver is subject to Rs. 15,000/- spending within two months of card issuance/renewal
Supplementary Card – Classic: Rs. 1,160/- (commission 1,000 + FED 160) per annum, whereas no annual fee for first year, while for subsequent years, waiver will be subject to Rs. 1,000/- spending within two months of renewal
Supplementary Card – Gold: Rs. 2,320/- (commission 2,000 + FED 320) per annum, whereas no annual fee for first year, while for subsequent years, waiver will be subject to Rs. 1,000/- spending within two months of renewal

Lost Or Stolen Cards: Please report loss or theft of your Askari MasterCard immediately at our customer Services UAN:+92-51-111-000-787 for Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Once you have registered the loss of your credit card, your liability against its fraudulent use will be limited and we will issue a replaced card upon your request within 2-3 working days.

Personal Accident Insurance- Common carrier: This insurance provides cover to Askari Bank’s Credit Cardholders. While travelling anywhere in the world against accidental Death & permanent disablement, as per benefits listed below , if the same is caused due to any accident to the carrier (Operated as authorized means of public transport) provided always that the ticket is bought for travelling by using Askari Credit Card only.
This insurance will not cover any claim due to death or permanent injury unless the same is caused due to any accident of the carrying vessel / vehicle.

Card in Transit Insurance: Debit established from the use of lost Credit Cards of Askari Bank Ltd during transit through courier service within the territorial limit of Pakistan.

  • PKR 15,000/= Per Occurrence
Travel Inconvenience Insurance: Delay of flight, Delay of baggage and Loss of / or damage to the baggage of the insured credit card holders traveling outside Pakistan, provided always that the ticket has been bought by using Askari Bank Credit Card to travel outside Pakistan.
Limit of Indemnity

  • For delay of flight , exceeding 06 hours, during any flight PKR 10,000/=
  • For delay baggage exceeding 06 hours, during any flight PKR 10,000/=
  • For Loss of / or damage to baggage PKR 20,000/=

Credit Card Insurance:
    • Counterfeit plastic Card Coverage
      Debit established against the insured resulting only from the use of counterfeit credits cards purporting to have been issued by the insured and the subsequent use of such credit Cards by any unauthorized person.
    • Lost or Stolen Plastic Card Coverage
      Debit established against the insured resulting only from the use of any Lost or Stolen Credit Cards or the contents thereof issued by the insured and the subsequent use of such credit cards or the contents thereof by any unauthorized person.
    • Employee dishonesty Coverage
      Loss of Money, securities and other property which the insured shall sustain resulting directly from one or more fraudulent or dishonest acts committed by an employee, acting alone or in collusion with others in respect of credit card operations only.
    • Merchant Fraud Coverage
      Loss which the insured shall sustain through forgery or alteration of, on or in any written instrument required in conjunction with any Credit Cards issued by the insured to any person anywhere within the Geographical Limits stated in the schedule.

Limit of Liability

  • Counterfeit Coverage Silver and Gold up to
    PKR 500,000/= each and every loss and in the aggregate for each counterfeit card.
    Counterfeit Coverage Platinum and Corporate Cards
    PKR 1,000,000/= each and every loss and in the aggregate for each counterfeited card.
  • Lost or Stolen Card Coverage up to
    PKR 300,000/= each and every loss and in the aggregate for each lost or stolen card.
    Lost and Stolen Coverage Platinum and Corporate Cards
    PKR 1,000,000/= each and every loss and in the aggregate for each lost or stolen card.
  • Employee Dishonesty Coverage Silver and Gold up to
    PKR 1,000,000/= each and every loss and PKR 2,500,000/= in the aggregate for all claims during the period of insurance under this clause.
  • Employee Dishonesty Coverage Platinum and Corporate Cards up to
    PKR 1,500,000/= each and every loss and PKR 3,000,000/= in the aggregate for all claims during the period of insurance under this clause.
  • Merchant Fraud Coverage Silver and Gold up to
    PKR 500,000/= each and every loss and PKR 2,000,000/= in the aggregate for all claims during the period of insurance under this clause.
  • Merchant Fraud Coverage Platinum and Corporate Card up to
    PKR 500,000/= each and every loss and PKR 2,000,000/= in the aggregate for all claims during the period of insurance under this clause.
Credit Shield: This cover provides insurance coverage for the customers who died or Disability during their relationship with bank and who opt for this coverage. Covers are as under.

  • Basic Death
  • Permanent & Total Disability
  • Accident or sickness
  • The monthly premium deduction for credit shield is PKR 6/10000 OR 0.6% per month of the outstanding Loan amount only.
